This is a meaningful conjunction because both Venus and Ketu meet in Magha nakshatra, the constellation of the royal ancestors, ruled by the Pitri devas. That layer deepens the usual Ketu-Venus story considerably. The past-life karma surfacing here has roots not only in personal relationship history but in ancestral patterns and soul inheritance carried across lifetimes.
Ketu or the South Node is a combination of all our past lives and events and ideas from all incarnations – the unresolved energies that propel us into the future. It has no head and it feels with the heart, reacting instinctively, emotionally, and intuitively rather than intellectually.
