June 29 to 31: Mars square Rahu and Ketu (True Node)
Mars comes to a square with the lunar nodes, the True Node axis of Rahu and Ketu. This is a friction signature. The nodes mark where events feel fated and outsized, and Mars is the planet of force, heat, and haste. When the two square off, the recurring themes are accidents, sharp words, fire and machinery, and crowds that move faster than judgment. Leave a wider margin than usual around anything carrying momentum, on the road, in the markets, and in conversation. The charge builds across these three days and does not fully discharge until the Mars-Uranus contact the following week.
June 29: Full Moon in Sagittarius
The Full Moon falls in sidereal Sagittarius, opposite a Sun in Gemini. Sagittarius is Jupiter’s fire sign: the sign of the long view, of teachers, law, and belief. A Full Moon here lights up the distance between what we know in detail, the Gemini side, and what we trust on principle, the Sagittarius side. June 29: Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer (2 degrees), through July 23
Mercury turns retrograde at 2 degrees of sidereal Cancer and stays retrograde until July 23. Cancer is the sign of home, memory, and the felt sense of safety, and Mercury is the messenger. Expect the familiar retrograde texture, crossed signals, delayed messages, and technology that needs a second try, with a Cancerian flavor laid over it: old conversations with family resurface, and decisions about home, property, and belonging ask for a second look. This is a review window, not a launch window. Back up your data, confirm your appointments, and reread before you send. Anything signed or shipped now is likely to be revisited before the station direct.
July 1: Heliocentric Pluto opposing Jupiter
Seen from the Sun rather than the Earth, Pluto and Jupiter come to opposition on July 1. Heliocentric contacts speak to the larger structures, to commodities, currencies, and the mood underneath the headlines, more than to the details of a personal chart. Jupiter expands and Pluto concentrates, so the opposition is a tug of war between excess and control, between the urge to grow and the pressure to consolidate. Look for turning points in the themes the two co-rule: large capital, shared resources, and anything where confidence and raw power meet.
July 4: Mars conjunct Uranus (earthquake signature)
Mars meets Uranus, the classic shock signature. In mundane astrology this pairing sits on the short list for earthquakes, sudden weather, explosions, and abrupt market reversals, because Uranus is the planet of the unexpected and Mars is the trigger that sets it off. The window is widest around July 4, with a day of orb on either side. This is not a forecast of a specific event in a specific place. It is a caution flag: expect the unexpected, avoid unnecessary risk, and do not be caught off guard by a sudden turn. It is also the discharge point for the tension that has been building since the Mars-node square on June 29.
