I’m honoured that The Leela Centre has invited me to be part of this year’s Leela Live Festival, celebrating 30 years of community, growth and transformation.
I’ve been coming to Leela for the past few years, and it’s become a place that feels like home. It’s also where I hold my Shamanic Practitioner and Energy Healer trainings.
I’ve seen first-hand the care and dedication of the team as they’ve continued to nurture and evolve this beautiful centre through all the joys and challenges that communities inevitably experience. Celebrating 30 years feels like a wonderful milestone, and I’m delighted to be part of it.
I’ll be facilitating two healing experiences during the festival.
🌹 Healing Ceremony with Roses
This special participatory ceremony will honour Leela’s journey over the past 30 years through an arc of grief, healing and celebration.
Together we’ll acknowledge any pain, loss, conflict or separation, whilst also celebrating the love, joy, creativity and unity that have shaped this extraordinary community. Through a moving meditation, ceremony, prayers and blessings, we’ll honour all that has been and consciously bless the next chapter of The Leela Centre.
Please bring roses, which we’ll place together to create a beautiful rose mandala on the land – a collective offering of gratitude, blessing and loving intention for the future.
🌿 Grief & Gratitude Workshop
Grief is a natural expression of love. Yet many of us carry losses that may not have been fully acknowledged – whether through bereavement, relationships ending, health challenges, faded dreams, or life’s many transitions.
In this gentle and heart-centred workshop, we’ll explore the many faces and stages of grief and how, when tended with compassion, it can gradually soften into gratitude, creating more space for peace, connection and joy.
Working with reflection, ceremony, breath, sound and the gentle heart medicine of Hawthorn – we’ll honour what we’re carrying, celebrate what we’ve loved, and remember that grief and gratitude are companions on the journey of a wholehearted life. 🌹
